With the devastation brought about by recent hurricanes, this is the perfect time to read (or reread) this book. It's packed with information but presented in a way that will reassure children, not scare them. For instance, if there's a hurricane watch, children can help by bringing in their bikes

so they won't blow away. Preparing is key and giving children something concrete to do works magic in keeping them calm. There are also science experiments to try so they can learn even more about hurricanes. I recommend it for both school and home, elementary grades. Show Less
