This story is filled with beautiful illustrations and is great for a class read aloud. The book takes place during the summertime in New England while World War II was occurring. In this book we are introduced to a young boy named William who has bedtime dreams of being a brave knight in war. The

only problem that William finds with these dreams is that they are dreams, and not real. Then, a real Queen moves in down the street from William. Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. William then feels that this is his chance to do something for the royal Queen. Although it may not be "war work" involved, it is almost just as good according to William!
