Tales of the Samurai and Lady Hosokawa

The following tales of the samurai, the knights of old Japan, adapted from traditional stories related by story-tellers, who nightly delight large audiences with romances and historical stories, especially the noble deeds of the samurai. Originally published in 1920, the author was Professor of English at the Oriental University in Tokyo.
