This is book 4 in a series that doesn't disappoint. There is always some adventure, be it good or bad, that keeps you wanting to keep on reading and see what will happen next. The characters are strong and determined, and Cole Jasper and Abbie Farrel are well suited for each other, but you would

never guess it by all the fighting and bickering that goes on between the two.

Abbie is beginning to settle back into running her ranch again, with the help of the rugged Cole Jasper as her foreman. But the serenity doesn't last long when two bounty hunters show up, capture Cole and claim they are taking him back to Texas, dead or alive. The death of a saloon girl has Cole wanted for murder and he finds himself willing to hang for something he didn't do, to save his brother from hanging. Abbie must ride out to try and free Cole before he arrives in El Paso to be hanged. Abbie questions his innocence at times but knows that for honor she must save the man. Along the way you will come to appreciate the determination of both parties and the honor they both have for different reasons. But most of all Abbie will again start to turn her heart towards love; although it will be a long time coming and I must say Cole is about the most patient man I know, waiting on this woman to truly love, forgive and trust him again.

God has mysterious ways of working things out for His good and it is very evident in this story. I find myself reading late at night to finish a book, just so I can get started on the next episode in the live of these folks who braved the rugged and wild frontier of Colorado and loved the life they lived.
