Dr. Paul Faber considers himself an atheist but then, he falls in love and believes he has been betrayed. He comes close to losing his love as he comes to grips with his God.

This is my least favorite book by this author so far (I haven't read all of them yet!). The two main characters are TOTALLY unlikeable. I found it impossible to sympathize with either of them- which is saying a lot!

Another great work of fiction by Mr. Macdonald. A little heavy on the argument and light on the story. But the story is pretty good.
