In this new edition of her classic book, Chiara Lubich reflects on the eucharistic mystery: its sources in scripture, its portrayal in the wisdom of the Church Fathers, the history of its liturgical celebration, and its implications for building unity and transforming society and the world. As the Church enters the Year of the Eucharist, we offer Chiara's meditations again, nearly three decades after she first presented them.
