I picked up Girl Meets Ghost thinking it would be a light read intended for middle school and upper elementary girls. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much myself. Kendall, like most middle school girls, has a crush on a boy, is worried about her grades, and is testing the rules that her father has

imposed. But she also sees ghosts -- all her life, ghosts who have unfinished business come to her for help so they can move on. While she does want to help them, they create havoc on her social life and she can't explain why. Her latest ghost is a high school gymnast who can't remember much, but knows that key to moving on involves her best friend Jen. Kendall has to figure out who the dead girl is, who Jen is, and what she needs to tell Jen without freaking her out. Not easy, especially when your crush is starting to get really interested. Kendall's preoccupation with her clothing and how she arranges her hair is pretty funny. I think the target girls will really like this first in a series. Show Less

Kendall has seen ghosts all her life. She helps them with their unfinished business so the can "move on". But when ghostly gymnast, Daniella appears needing help, Kendall is not in the mood. See Kendall has just started sort of dating hunky Brandon Dunham and she does not need interuptions,
This book was fun. I read it during my lunch hours so it took a while but sometimes I had no reading time at all. The characters were fun and truly sounded their age. I hope to see Kendall and gang again soon.
