This is a very good book. It has enough art, color, text and side bars to be exciting. Yet, it's just enough to make the reader want to stay on the page. The text is also inviting, well-written, and appealing! The author shares enough facts to make the animal interesting and real, but doesn't bury

the reader in tedious facts. I love the single bold statement paired with the species name at the top of the page. It makes each animal memorable and unique. 5 stars.
