as a excellent tool as for my GRE test.

A new dictionary for a new generation. But the binding is rather chintzy. After only a few years about 20 pages have come loose from the binding. My 1964 pocket dictionary, on the other hand, is intact. They don't make 'em like they used to...

The stereotype of the school dictionary, Merriam-Webster is accurate, concise, and more-or-less unremarkable. Nowadays, it is best used when the internet is unavailable or otherwise undesirable.
