This book had very vivid pictures. This book would be helpful when teaching a lesson on the rain forest. Students begin learning about the rain forest in the third grade. It would help students learn about all the different types of animals found in the rain forest.

Rain Forest shows deforestation from the point of view of the jungle animals. The beautifully vibrant and saturated artwork shows the animals moving through the forest before, during and after buldozers come through for clearcutting. The powerful images and simple language make for quite an impact

This book was purely a political statement to show how we are destroying the world. In the end the animals are safe, but it still isn't very good.

This book has beautiful pictures, but it takes up an activist view that I would save until a child is older. It is simple. It tells the story of men destroying the rain forest, but not being able to finish.
