Classroom Extension Ideas:
1. I would love to read this book to the class during the fall time of the year. Since it talks about all the the kinds of trees there are it would be a great learning book as well.
2. After reading this book, I would love to take the class on a leaf walk so they could find their own leaves. We could do a leaf rub when we return back to the class for their art.

the bear hunt song. This book also describes many of the trees and there leaves. The kids have fun walking in the forest and over the mountains, but when they see the skunk they realize they are in trouble and need to make a run for it.Classroom Extension Ideas:

This is just like "We're Going On A Bear Hunt". A group of children are going on a leaf hunt and reach obsticles on their journey to find leaves. At one point, they reach a bush that has a skunk in it, so they have to quickly journey back the way they came. This book is full of wonderful words, and
