Junie B is going for her first sleep over at Lucille’s fancy rich Nana’s house but when her and Grace get there, they soon find out that most things are hands off, and after ruining everything in her own way Junie B is glad to come home.

Although my daughter loves this series, I do not feel that same way. I encourage her to read and am glad that she does, but I don’t approve of the grammar used.

Summary- Junie friend Lucille is having a sleepover party. Junie and her friends stay up the entire partying.

Comment- I would use this book for Kindergarten and second Grade. I would ask them to think of a time when they have stayed away from their family and what was it like.

In Junie B. Jones book, Lucille is having a sleepover party—at her richie nanna's big giant house! Grace and Junie B. can't wait to see all the rich stuff in that place. Sleeping over at the nanna's is sure to be a dream come true! 'Cause what could possibly go wrong?

Readers can make connections based on their experiences of sleepovers they have had. Also in my opinion the book passes along the message that things may not always be as they appear, it is important to respect others properties, follow the rules, but even more significant be happy with who you are

This story is relatable for little kids when they go over other people’s houses and have to respect their rules. The main idea of this story is to respect others property and have manners.
