This is such an terrific book comparing hornets to wasps. I learned such interesting facts as the following. Neither hornets nor wasps are bees! Wasps live under the ground. Both hornets and wasps have three eyes on top of their head in addition to their two large compound eyes. I was so excited to

look at a picture I took of a hornet earlier this summer and see those three smaller eyes after I enlarged my picture.
