I actually enjoyed this volume more than the previous Claymore installments. I'm still not a huge fan of the art, and honestly I don't really like many of the characters either. But it is interesting to see a bunch of Claymores together, and the inner workings of a Claymore.

This is the 4th volume in the Claymore series and was another excellent installment in this series. This series continues to be a very well done dark fantasy series, full of excellent characters and stunning action scenes.

Teresa did the unthinkable in protecting Clare, she killed humans. Now Teresa
Show More
has to deal with the aftermath of that. There is a bounty on her head and other Claymores are tasked with killing the rogue Teresa once and for all. Teresa continually tries to convince Clare to stay in towns along the way, but Clare insists on following Teresa.

Now we are following Clare’s story before she became a Claymore and it is fascinating to read about her background. We watch Clare and Teresa interact a lot. Both of them have changed some; Teresa is starting to feel human emotion and Clare is starting to have more of a sense of self worth.

We meet quite a few new Claymore as well and learn about how they are ranked by ability. There are some absolutely spectacular fight scenes between the Claymore too.

The whole series continues to be well drawn with excellent action scenes, wonderful characters, and a fascinating story.

Overall this was a wonderful continuation to this story. I am excited to see what happens next. I would definitely recommend this whole manga series to anyone who loves action-packed dark fantasy manga.

Yagi's pacing is just right and he knows what the readers want: action!

A nice twist in the plot: the hunter becomes the hunted.

Because there are now 5 claymores, it becomes a little difficult to keep track of who's fighting. The distinction between the hairstyles and faces--which in manga can be
Show More
quite similar--get a little lost. However, no other claymore comes close to Clare's bob-cut.
