I originally had to buy this book for a general philosophy class. Sometime later, I ended up going back and rereading it. Upon my second reading I discovered a lot that I missed the first time, and I more thoroughly enjoyed it the second time around.

have some philosophy already under your belt. This book is poised to answer numerous questions, i.e. does God exist, is the Bible myth, is there life after death, are miracles possible, but from a philosophical point of view. Of course most of the questions addressed in this book we may never know the true answers to, but this book certainly presents some very compelling arguments.
Of all the chapters the one I liked the most was chapter nine The Bible: Myth or History. This chapter goes into detail on how to read and interpret the Bible. For instance it explains how to know when to interpret the Bible literally or symbolically.
After it is all said and done, I now own two other books by Kreeft and I plan on buying more. If your interested in any of his other works he has a personal website that lists all of his books, as well as numerous mp3 audio downloads that elaborate more on subjects he has written on. Just do a search for Peter Kreeft.
