"Skywalkers is an idea that was born over one hundred years ago when the first Mohawk walked the iron. It has taken us years to appreciate the importance of ironwork as a modern tradition among our own people. For generations ironwork has been a fact of life for many of our families. It is time to now honour those that have worked the iron. Ironwork will continue to be a family tradition for the Woodland Indians as long as there is another skyscraper to build.
