gives up takes us through his journey to become a sled dog, but when he finally meets one of these harden sled dogs his mood changes. He discovers as he lies on the couch beside his human that his life is better than the sled dogs. Michael brings this story alive with his musical language and descriptive verses. The illustrations are beautifully done with a certain northern feel. With colorful and interesting illustrations everyone can enjoy this pictures book.
