“Am I a Color Too?” was a powerful nonfiction poetry book describing the feelings of a mixed child. He asks if he is a color too, and if so what color? How the story was written was the best part of this book, it had a great message that was shared repeated: “I am a Human Being, not a color,

not a word. I have my hopes and dreams and a voice that will be heard.” This is a good book. Not only to help children with different skin coloration feel more comfortable in their own skin, but to help adults as well.
