The Kuma: A Bilingual English to Arabic Children's Book (Wadi Tales) (Arabic Edition)

The first in the Wadi Tale series, The Kuma tells the tale of four hats, four unruly boys, and the love between a grandmother and her grandsons in the mountainous Sultanate of Oman. This book was translated into a spoken dialect of Nizwani Arabic to promote savoring the unique sociolinguistic traits of different parts of Oman. It also allows young readers to relate and connect easily with characters in a personal way.
