This is a bilingual English/Spanish alphabet book. The artwork is really neat! The animals were handmade by the Jimenez family in Oaxaca, Mexico. I could see myself using this book in a bilingual classroom or with ELL students who are just starting to learn English.

The book is an alphabet book in Spanish and English. The author chose animals that were almost the same in spelling in both English and Spanish. It has both words in the same page. It even adds animals for the LL RR and N in the Spanish alphabet. This would be great from a pre-K or Kinder bilingual

classroom. Some of the animals that was chosen I do not think students would know about.
