I liked this book for two reasons. First, I liked the writing of the story. The story was very organized and engaging. The plot of the story was very cute and interesting for readers. For example, the mother was explaining to the baby fox how she felt when he was born and came home to her. I liked

how she explained what she was seeing and what she was hearing that made her excited for the baby’s arrival. I also liked how the story flowed at a good pace and that the mama fox repeated “God would find us you” many times to emphasize its importance. A second thing I liked about this book was the illustrations. The pictures were very detailed and helped to fit with the mood of the story. For example, when the mother was looking for her baby, the illustrations give her a straight, focused face, where she is not smiling. Also, when the mama is shown with the baby fox she looks happy and grateful to be with her baby. Overall, the big idea of the story is being thankful for your loved ones. Mama fox explains how long she waited for baby fox and repeats that she is happy that god found baby fox for her.
