Capybara_99: Here's my thoughts (meant for my Santee, Jacobsbeloved): 1 historical novel, which is also a book about a book (Eco)(one I like and hope you haven't read despite being well-known); a thorough fantasy book, young adult genre, the first of a series that seems good; one from your wish list, a historical novel I'd like to read, and a recent book that perhaps could be called fantasy. I seriously considered the suggestion of Oracle Night but decided I wasn't sure of it was quite right for you, in tone if nothing else - but considered it enough that I might get it for myself.
