SantaThingSantaThing Entry #300

Book tastes

Lately, I’ve really been into ghosts and gothic, horror (not hardcore, just regular is fine ;)), techie (cyber or science) sci-fi, cozies & thrillers

Don't get this!

No westerns or erotica, please! Also, unless you think it’s truly the perfect fit, I’d rather not receive YA.

Other notes

I will try to make sure my lists on here are updated. I have a wishlist and I’d be thrilled to get anything from it - but I’d be equally as thrilled if you had a recommendation that fits within the description above. I’m pretty busy these days, so something that reads quickly would also be fun — don’t necessarily mean short, just not something that drags. Don’t worry about any trigger warnings. Oh and the amount I picked, taking into account shipping, would prob work for 1 new-new book or 2 older ones - I have no preference! Thank you!!

saroz: If she's getting into ghosts and gothic, I really recommend Sarah Waters' "The Little Stranger." She might also like a collection by the master of ghost stories, M.R. James, or William Hope Hodgson's "Carnacki the Ghost Finder" - just be sure to get an edition by a real publisher! (Nov 26, 2023, 1:48am)
HuberK: Leeann Betts. :) (Nov 25, 2023, 5:43pm)
HuberK: Leann Betts writes cozy mysteries. Luna by Garron Whited is a good sci-fi book. (Nov 24, 2023, 8:53pm)
