Book tastes

Supernatural horror books, eldritch horror or along those lines are a favourite. Folk horror, mysterious and creepy is also something I enjoy.
Comedy and Fantasy are usually safe bets if horror isn't your thing.

Don't get this!

ablachly: ordered! (Dec 6, 2023, 8:37am)
jburlinson: I think Blackwell's does not require the $6 shipping fee. So I calculate that the remainder to be spent is $12.23. So here's my suggestion:

What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher. 9781803360072. $10.40 (Dec 5, 2023, 12:09am)
saroz: "Picnic at Hanging Rock" by Joan Lindsay is a very mysterious and creepy and oppressive classic. which I highly recommend. (Dec 4, 2023, 9:32pm)
Petroglyph: This won't fit in the santee's budget, but as a general recommendation I want to mention Claude Seignolle, a French author of folk-horror. Aliya Whiteley and Mariana EnrĂquez might be up affie's street as well (Dec 4, 2023, 6:23pm)
mookie86: I usually look for classics when a small balance is left. You can find good ones that a publishing house has printed in paperback for less than $7. (i.e. Frankenstein, Lovecraft for this person) (Dec 4, 2023, 5:48pm)
witchescastle: There is $6.18 left on the balance and I can't find anything for that amount, especially with the money conversion. Please let me know if you have a suggestion :) (Dec 3, 2023, 4:28pm)
MDGentleReader: The dragonbone chair is a book affie should borrow from me.

Don't Tell a Soul and The Sun Down Motel are highly rated horror books. (Nov 30, 2023, 10:28pm)
