Book tastes

I like fiction, especially historical fiction, low fantasy, children's fiction, coming-of-age-stories, classics, mystery and contemporary realistic fiction.

Don't get this!

Of L.M. Montgomery's books, I already own: the eight Anne books, The Blythes Are Quoted, Chronicles of Avonlea, Further Chronicles of Avonlea, Emily Climbs, Pat of Silver Bush, Kilmeny of the Orchard.
I don't mind a little romance, but I would prefer it to be a secondary genre (e.g. a minor story arc) rather than the focus.
Not a big fan of high fantasy, heavy sci-fi or most modern YA fiction. Would prefer no sex scenes please.

Other notes

I recently read Exiles by Jane Harper and enjoyed it a lot. I don't own any Jackie French books, but I love both her writing style and the topics and characters she writes about in her historical fiction. I also love: L.M. Montgomery, Diana Wynne Jones, Jane Austen, Six of Crows, Agatha Christie.
Authors I would read anything from, fiction or nonfiction: C. S. Lewis, L. M. Montgomery.
Check out my collections to see what I own – those are the books I love :)
