Book tastes

My tastes skew towards literary fiction, SFF, historical fiction, memoir, and books by writers of colour in general. But all I want from my Santa this year is the best book you read in 2023!

If this helps, my recent favourites are Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead, Yellowface by Rebecca F Kuang (and also her Poppy War trilogy), Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy, A Dutiful Boy by Mohsin Zaidi, The Sound of Being Human by Jude Rogers, The Half Life of Valery K by Natasha Pulley, and Becky Chambers' Monk & Robot books (I have and love everything else by her, too).
