In my quest to survey the many writers from the SF Classic period of the 1950s and 1960s I have discovered many good authors. There are a few hidden jewels I had over looked before. Wilson Tucker is one of them.

"The Time Masters" is the third book I have read by this mostly forgotten author. The

first two dealt with time travel and were enjoyable "The Lincoln Hunters" was OK and "Wild Talent" was better. This one is the best so far. All of his books had the potential to be 50%-100% longer and more in depth. It could have been an editorial choice based on the expected length of cheap paperbacks released in the 1950s. Maybe it was the authors choice. Either way I like the stories and will be looking for more of his works.

I doubt if any of his books will rate 5 stars but this one gets 4 from me.
