Joey didn’t kill the chief and realize he is being framed. It takes Abernathy a while to discover and figure out what to do. Very little of the action takes place in the court room but it interesting and suspenseful to see how Abernathy works. I like this character, and am sorry that there isn’t a sequel. Show Less
