The second part contains the same ambassador angels, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy. They are sent to New York this time to answer the prayers of Brynn Cassidy, a high school teacher who prays that her class could see beyond their troubles and reach for the stars. Goodness is sent to answer Hannah Morganstern's prayer. Her family owns a deli. She becomes engages to the family loved "Carl", but is in love with Joshua, an attorney she meets on the day of the Thanksgiving day parade. Jenny Lancaster is a broadway aspiring singer/acter, but has never been successful. Trey comes from her home in Montana to visit for Christmas, and she realizes she is in love with him, not the broadway scene.
