It's an alphabet book that doesn't suck and that has the side benefit of featuring a firetruck. Brilliant!

Alphabet Rescue is about letters trying hard to be fire fighters. The little letters are told that they are not big enough to be fire fighters. They prove to everyone that you can do anything you put your mind to, no matter how big or little you are.

I really like this book . The illustrations are

bright and vivid. It teaches children that they can do whatever they put there mind to. All we have to do is try our best.

We could take a trip to a fire house or have a fire truck come to our class. We could also talk about what we want to be when we get older.

When the capital letters don't allow the little letters to help in the fire station, the little letters set out on their own adventure. They help other letters throughout the town. When an accident happens to the capital letters, the little letters and their fire truck run to the rescue.

Charley is on vacation at his grandparents' house, so he has no need for his "set" of alphabet letters. They decided to go back to their hometown, and when they visit a fire station to try to help with the fire hose, they end up making a mess instead. The capital letters say that they have no use

for them, so the lower case letters decide to clean up an old fire truck and be their own fire fighters. When the capital letters are in trouble, the lowercase letters come to save the day.

This book is for beginning readers. They learn the alphabet through pictures and a fun story about what the little letters can do by themselves.

Over all I rate is book a five star to read to children and it will keep there attention along with teaching a valuable lesson.

Not so much a 'teach' or 'expose' the alphabet as much as a story with alphabet letters as characters. Great for pre-k, Kindergarten and preschool storytime.

Genre: Informational
Review: This is a good informational book because it teaches kids about the alphabet, and what upper and lowercase letters look like and are in a fun and mysterious way.
Summary: This book is about how lower case letters of the alphabet are frustrated because the upper case

letters will not allow them to have any fun. This book is about what the lower case letters will do to rebel against the uppercase letters.
