suitable place to sleep. It is eveident to Otis and Sophie that Mr. Tomcat is only looking for a place to stay, not a job. In fact Mr. Tomcat is afraid of rats. When he finds out that Sophie and Otis have a rat problem he runs away. Because of the noise, the rats move out. Sohpie and Otis got rid of the rats, with the help of Mr. Tomcat after all.
