Once I started reading this book, I just couldn't put it down! Cat Johnson has a way of making you feel what the characters are feeling, including the intimate feeling of falling for the cowboy who is afraid of falling in love again. I loved reading this book and I plan to read it so many times

OH man. I started this book this morning and did not put it down and finished it. Tuck is stubborn and does not want to let go. He does not want to feel like he did before. Becca does not want to get into a relationship. She just got out of a long term one. They both want to move on with their
Cat pulls you in and keeps you reading. I could not put this book down. I kept reading and wanting to know where they ended up.
The heart ache that Cat puts you through makes you want to scream at the characters. There were times where you laugh out loud and get that funny look from others in the room.
This story made me smile really big a few times. I got asked what I was smiling about a few times... :-) If only they knew.
I will be added the next one to my list of need to gets as soon as I can.
A line that I love in the book: " I don't know what it is about cowboys that makes them so irresistible. It must be all the leather. " Or the chaps... or the hidden look from under the cowboy hats. They can make your heartbeat pick up a notch or two.
Cat had me laughing really good when she put the line: One question was answered. He did take off his hat for sex.

This book put Cat Johnson on my favorite author shelf! I instantly fell in love with the H/H and enjoyed the story. It is Sexy & Sweet and will keep you reading till the pages are all gone. I would recomend this to all erotica - western fans as well as everyone who enjoys a good romance.

From start to finish this book held my interest on so many different levels. We have a cowboy who is also serves in the military. We have a college professor from a big city that moves to Oklahoma to teach. We have a hot yet sweet romance between two very interesting characters with a story line
The instant attraction between Becca and Tucker felt real and not at all cheesy. I totally love the vibe these two have. Then the emotions they dealt with when they realized that it wasn’t going to be a one night fling were spot on. I think what touched me the most was when Tucker was back in Afghanistan. The way the missed each other was just wonderful.
I am very impressed with the way this story just continued to flow even when there were twists I didn’t expect. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series as well anything else this author writes.

Finally, I book that is hot and romantic. Usually these books are just so sappy, but it one truly was really and you felt that the whole way through! I loved it! I recently found out that this book is a part of a series and I usually don't like reading series but I cannot wait to read the next one.

New York born and bred, Becca is way out of her comfort zone in Oklahoma, but Tuck gladly takes the sexy slicker under his wing and introduces her to country living. Becca is intense and serious and Tuck is exactly what she needs to bring out her long forgotten flirtatious side. She has serious reservations about getting involved with anyone so soon after her breakup but with Tuck, she decides to throw caution to the wind and live in the moment.
But real life soon intrudes on the happy couple. There is the small matter of the no dating rule between co-workers. Becca is hesitant to commit to a serious relationship. Tuck is afraid to admit what he feels for Becca. Tuck soon panics and makes a snap decision that literally tears the couple apart. But a separation proves to be just what Becca and Tuck need to put their lives and their relationship in perspective.
The sexual tension between Becca and Tuck burns so hot I am surprised my eReader did not catch fire! Their sex scenes are positively incendiary and unbelievably sensual. Some of their scenes are exquisitely detailed and leave little to the reader's imagination while others just hint at the delicious lovemaking Becca and Tuck are indulging in.
One Night with a Cowboy is a quick and entertaining read that is absolutely superb. It is exceptionally well-written and full of unexpected twists and turns. I savored every luscious word of this amazing novel and the only thing I hated is that it had to end! But luckily for me, this is just the first installment of Cat Johnson's outstanding Oklahoma Nights series and I am impatiently (but eagerly) awaiting Two Times As Hot.
