While working on a new job as a journalist, things went terribly wrong. She fled to an exotic location to freelance, free herself of any men, and try to gain a clearer perspective of what to do with her life. She was doing just fine until former NHL star, Taylor Beckham intrudes on her daily jogging routine. Taylor does not fit the scenario of the typical "rich boy". Alyssa has a secret that haunts her every day. Somehow she must find a way to tell him . While trying to figure it all out, Taylor learns it in the worst kind of way!
This is a story about betrayal, deceit, love, retribution, all bound up in suspense and romance. The characters will captivate the reader's emotions. The scenes are easily experienced by the reader through verbal descriptiveness.
The Book Title and Cover are well chosen.
