Pulled this off my shelf the other night when I was out of new books to read. Once again the tales enchanted me...I got no sleep that night! Shana Abe never fails to deliver a story that captures your heart and makes you believe.

At first I was really into this novel, but about halfway through I totally lost interest. The story was convoluted and didn't have enough going for it to keep me interested. Rather disappointing overall.

An extremely slow read.
A place out of legend, a battle for supremacy, t
he young lord finds himself trapped in a mermaid's castle.

First story was terribly predictable, but the second was quite the page-turner, and the third had the most well-executed, understated plot-twist, so I give the book a happy 4 stars.

Interesting take on the Siren myth, the first two stories were good but the third felt too short and forced.
