The layout and design of this book was very strong. The placement of everything was very methodical. The texture and illustration style is beautiful and I love the font size, placement, and style changes. I think it is a fun way to look at water and it's cycle because it is presented more

poetically then technically so it is very engaging. I think this is a very important book for children to read because it teaches them the importance of keeping our water resources clear and clean.

I love that this explanation of the water cycle is more a celebration of life, poetry, and art then science. But by the time you follow the flow of water through the pages, you will have learned the science too!

This book is enjoyable and an important read to children because of environment issues. This could be a catapult to teach children how precious water is to the Earth and that some are not fortunate to have all the water they need. It has Earth friendly examples and some great hydrology information

that could be expanded on as well.

A cool book about the water cycle. I like the illustrations as well as the ideas of what happens to water when it's not just in my bathroom or my glass and such. It did remind me to appreciate water more.

All the Water in the World is a picture book about the water cycle. It encourages children to imagine where the water in faucet comes from. This book is an excellent book to use with students who may be disconnected from nature. Some students may not have considered that water has a life outside of

our pipes and hoses. The strength of this book is the design. The words are placed within the pictures, encouraging the reader to continue turning the page.

My favorite thing about this book was how animated the text was from page to page. I was engaged by the beautiful illustrations and how the swirly, sideways and curved text added to the movement in the water. I think that this is a great book that uses so much more than pictures to express the way

water is and how it is a cycle.

I thought this was a great book in the respect that a great lesson on the water cycle could be taught with it. I also think it shows the importance of conservation and "living green." The illustrations help tell the story and I love the vivid colors.

This is a book written in poem form with digital illustrations and is about the water cycle. Each page washes into the next and the poetry flows as well. It goes through all the stages of the water cycle and expresses how vital it is for all living things. It also has a message of saving water.

This

is a great book the poem flows really well and is easy to read. It explains the water cycle in an easy to understand way, shows children that water is important for all living things, and encourages children to save water.

1. The class could make a water and sand table to show how water flows.

2. The class can use a felt board with velcro rain drops to have a moving way to depict the water cycle.

Wonderful story supported by beautiful pictures of where water comes from and the value of it. I really enjoy the "keeping it green" theme.

This is a picture-book with water-conservation in mind. While the text of the book is good; rhyme-y and playful explaining the water cycle and the need to conserve, the illustrations are less than compelling and feel a little generic. It reads and looks exactly as expected. As Cookie Monster has

A good book to have around when topics like the water-cycle come up. Will keep available for students to choose. Is a decent read-aloud book.

In my opinion, this is a great book to use in a science class during a lesson on the water cycle. This is a perfect way to incorporate reading into different school subjects. There are several reasons why I like this book. The language is descriptive and the writing is very engaging to the reader.

The words are organized in ways that flow with illustrations on the page. Sometimes the words are typed in bold or large font. They are written either diagonally, swirled, spaced apart, clumped together, or curved. The font style and size changes from page to page. This style of writing works very well with the content being presented on the page. It dramatizes the information and makes it interesting to read. The illustrations also play a huge role in holding the reader’s attention. These eye-catching illustrations are colorful, exciting, and relate to the book’s content. The information provided is accurate, clear, and very engaging. Children can relate to this information because water is apart of their everyday life. It pushes readers to understand that water does not disappear and reappear; it travels through a cycle and the same water will always be on this Earth. The big idea of this book is to explain the water cycle in child-friendly terms and address the importance of keeping our water clean. For example, the book reads, “All so precious-do not waste it. And delicious-we can taste it. Keep it clear, keep it clean…keep Earth clean!” The book wants children to understand how important it is to keep our water clean so that we can stay healthy and the Earth can stay healthy.
