I would most likely use this book in any grade from 2nd to 6th. It is humorous and fun. I also think that it depicts each certain reptile accurately and in a way that students can understand and relate to. I would use this book when teaching a lesson about the differences between reptiles and amphibians. I could also use this book as an individual research resource for students when they are doing a project on specific reptiles because it contains some rare reptiles that may be hard to find information on.

book. It includes vivid illustrations instead of real pictures that sometimes show the reptiles in humorous ways, instead of just perched on a branch. be great to use as a text innovation. Students could each pick a letter of the alphabet and find an animal to go with it. The class could then make a collective ABC book about yucky, gross, or pretty, beautiful animals, reptiles, or insects. Show Less
