horrible editing and a gay ole time
I didn't pick this book up for any in-depth discussion on such issues as global warming, homophobia, terrorism, sexual assault, substance abuse, body image, warfare, post-apocalyptical survival strategies, etc, though all of these topics are touched, albeit

shallowly, upon in Aquamarine. I came looking for adventure, sci-fi specifically future time frame post-occurrence, gay characters (hard enough to find in regular fiction never mind sci-fi) not treated as freaks apologized for killed as punishment or writen as psycho killers.... And I got all that. And some tasty trashy sex. Show Less

Typical Mel Keegan; this time thinly-disguised gay Bodie and Doyle are a marine scientist and his genetically-altered partner caught up in political upheaval in a post-apocalypse-by-global-warming-and-comet 21st century. Fun as ever; rather less sex than usual, though.
