In the Book Middle School Get Me Out of Here, 7th grader Rafe Khatchadorian's mom has to leave here job after the diner burns. They must move in with their grandmother, who leaves in a big city. He is enrolled to Cathedral School of the Arts. Next he decides he needs to get a life. He sets up a

series of rules, that he must follow during his mission. He has to do one new thing everyday, for the rest of the year. Along the way he makes a new friend how name is Matty the Freak. He also makes enemies, such as Zeke McDonalds, and Kenny Patel. In the end he finds out his father is a war hero. He moves back to his old place.
This book gives a way of looking at the life of a middle school student for people. My favorite part was when he threw a water balloon at Zeke and Kenny. I also liked the part where he dumpster dives with his friend. My favorite character was Leo. Even though he is imaginary he sounds like someone I would like to hang out with. I don't like Zeke because he is a bad person. He makes fun of Rafe even when he is a new student. Overall I liked the book because I can understand how Rafe feels. Everyone should read this book.

This book is about a boy going to a different school in the big city-like. The school was art school. So its about the art and understanding the art. He meets new friends but he misses his friend back to the old school. He just want to get out of middle school. He likes art and friends. I like this

book because its about middle schooler and the school. Its a funny book. They have the first book so you should read that one first then this one. The pictures are funny to me.

A fun humorous story along the lines of the Wimpy Kid series that middle schoolers will find amusing and perhaps even connect with. With funny illustrations littered throughout this is something even reluctant readers will enjoy. I must say though I was a little disappointed that Rafe didn't stand

up to the bullies from the new school and instead ran away from the trouble. I think this is the wrong message to send and it really bothered me.

I liked this 2nd book a bit better than the first. I think it was that I now understood what the authors were doing with Rafe and Leo. In this book Rafe, his sister and his mother have moved "into the city" to live with Grandma after a fire destroyed the diner Mom worked in. The plus side is that

Rafe is out of the Middle School that he hated so badly and in a fine arts Middle School. The bad part is that even the "popular" kids in this school pick on him. He makes a friend called Matty and they work together to complete art projects.

There is a twist ending, which I loved. I'm looking forward to the next book which is in my towering TBR pile.

Be careful what you wish for. Rafe's dream school reveals itself to be the same wolf in the clothes of a different sheep. This book featured some growth for Rafe as he comes to understand the nature of hazing and begins to realize that the internal doubts he has about his value in life plague even

the most successful of people. A phenomenal follow up.
