Pleasantly filled with well-written fun banter, character interplay and charm, and building on the title characters' rich shared history in a cosy and believable way. However, too much of the story is spent on the trite staple of fighting copies of themselves for it to make a lasting impression

beyond that. Still, the dialogue stands out a bit (if you don't mind some tongue-in-cheeck silliness at least) and the art's quite good, so this is hovering on the edge of 4 stars and if I was more personally invested in Rogue and Gambit's relationship, that might have tipped it over.
