One of my favorite movies! I was stationed at MCAS EL Toro from 1974-1978 as the H&HS Weather Service Office...and it's very interesting to have them show part of the movie as being filmed on that Flight Line...

Flying saucers invade earth.

It's a chore to sit through the whole thing, but if you just watch an hour at time it can be fun. Complete crap, but fun.

Well, everyone seems to have forgotten Kenneth Johnson's V from 13 years earlier when this movie premiered in the summer of 1996. Just as with V, Independence Day deals with an invasion of UFOs.
