The "Mary Poppins" story with the basic premise logic of Spielberg's "Hook", populated with Disney's Winnie-the-Pooh characters. Might sound hokey (and sure, it kind of is). But a predictable and paper-thin feelgood plot doesn't get in the way of the enjoyment of this movie, which is massive. The

often directly-from-Milne lines of dialogue in the scenes with Pooh give such heartfelt poignancy and depth to the goings on, that the story's simplicity is almost a feature rather than a bug. And McGregor is the perfect casting here. Warmly recommended to any Pooh fan, but will probably be a giant yawn to most others.

Madeline (Bronte Carmichael). But Christopher has been consumed by his job and providing for his family that he has forgotten the important things of life- like spending time with his wife and daughter. After, once again giving up time with his family for last-minute work at the office, he is visited by an old friend (Winnie-the-Pooh / Jim Cummings). Winnie the Pooh helps Christopher realize the true meaning of life. Great and fun movie. Highly recommend.
