The later Asterix adventures, the ones post-Goscinny and Uderzo, tend to be on the middling side. This one revolves around the daughter of the Gaulish chieftain, Vercingetorix, and our heroes' efforts to try to protect her, which of course come a cropper. Not bad, but not a patch on the early stuff
