ongoing secret invasion. But then it quickly becomes a generic actionfest, and about halfway through the volume, a hard-to-follow, hard-to-care-about mess on top of it, as each issue skips ahead in time to do some poorly explained crossover or other. Grifter is like the DC Punisher to me. I really enjoyed this because I liked Grifter's attitude and just plain, sort of anti-hero bubble about him. It was a pretty good surprise title that I wasn't really expecting much from. Definitely interested to read the next volume.
