This book is BRILLIANT. Can't say enough good things about it. I'd read Ed Brubakers superb Captain America: Winter Soldier books and so decided to get this title when I saw it fairly cheap on ebay.
It's truly gripping and hard-hitting stuff and I just love the realism of the super heroes (and

villains) in it. There's a realism to their stripped down portrayal by artist Michael Lark, to their dialogue and to their relationships with other super types. DD himself, Kingpin, The Punisher, Bullseye, The Owl, Hammerhead - all actually come across as real people and not as cartoon characters. And just wait until you find out who's been masquerading as Daredevil whilst Murdock's locked up in Ryker's Island!
Volume 2 is already on my Amazon Wish List!! :-)
