A blind man with super senses fights criminals.
It's nice to have a Marvel show with writers. That's novel. And characters, too (the main character is lame and kind of a dick, but everyone else makes up for him). Also, I think this might be the first time anywhere in the MCU where a hero fights

crime. The budget is very obviously tiny, though. They're usually pretty clever in disguising that by simply not being visually ambitious, but it still shows enough to be distracting. Also, it bothers me a little that it takes place a few blocks away from The Avengers' headquarters (their massive, skyline-dominating headquarters which is conspicuously never visible in any of the many skyline shots), and yet there is no sign that this is the same NYC.Concept: C

It took a while to get into it but overall I found it dark but interesting. Matt really feels the effects of what he does and this sets up a lot of his past and where it looks the show is going. The Kingpin really does a number and some of the people around him are quite evil. It has a lot of

emphasis on the sheer banality of some evil. Show Less
