And I thought Dick Grayson as Batman was lame. But apparently Detective Comics is now about Batwoman, with a second feature about The Question. This issue focuses on introducing the character (however, DC's blurb told me more about her than reading the book), with the "villain" (who hasn't actually

done anything villainous, but I guess we're just assuming that she's a villain because Batwoman (and who the hell is Batwoman? I don't know) doesn't like her) showing up at the end. You would think that if they're going to take Batman away from Detective Comics, they would at least give us one of the million recognizable Gotham City villains, but no such luck. I'm a little upset that this title has the name "Detective Comics," as it has nothing in common with what that title was when I subscribed to it. It's not even about Gotham City in the absence of Batman; it's just a new story about new characters, one of whom happens to have a Bat-shaped logo. But mostly I'm just annoyed that the writing is dull and the artwork is bad.
