Luke's Place Library & Feminist Archives

Luke’s Place Library & Feminist Archives has been created to be a resource to its staff, to Family Law lawyers, to the women served by Luke’s Place, and to an extent, the broader community. In addition to what public or academic libraries offer, the Luke’s Place Library collection is pointedly focused on issues of importance to women & their children as they prepare to leave harmful domestic situations, to those who support women through the family court process (lawyers/legal support workers), and beyond (mental health & wellness). The majority of items in the library are available for loan with a very simple and private account set-up. We gratefully acknowledge the many books donated from the private practice of two women with decades of passionate and meaningful service to women and families in both this region and the wider community (Deborah Sinclair & Pamela Cross).
