The embroidery directions in this book are quite good. The enbroidery is lovely, and even though the stamped linens aren't available, a clever needlewoman should be able to create similar items on the basis of the pictures. Many of the designs are really beautiful.

Warning: The making up directions

often call for glue and cardboard. Any materials used in framing should be acid free, and I would be very leary of using glue on anything I had spent hours making.

It's lovely having this available from Gutenberg.
