But after a sheltered upbringing, she's astounded by the hedonistic antics of the other ex-pats in the infamous Happy Valley set. Cecily soon grows to love her stunning but complicated new home, and she even accepts a proposal of marriage from an enigmatic older cattle farmer. After a shocking discovery and with war looming, Cecily feels isolated and alone. Until she meets a young woman in the woods and makes her a promise that will change the course of her life forever. Nice reading especially on a lazy day. I enjoyed the chapters about Cecily in Kenia.

Sun Sister is Sister #6 of the Seven Sisters, listened to this on Audible Audio. I really enjoy all of Lucinda Riley's books, this included, however, not my favorite sister story. Suspense is mounting to found out if there will be a Book#7!

As I’ve said before I find the story incredibly interesting but the writing to be sub par. Per usual everything is wrapped up nice and pretty. How lovely

This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it makes me excited for the final book! Electra grew and changed throughout the book, but I couldn't handle her being whiny and so self centered at times. I did like the flashbacks to her ancestors life in Africa.

Tracing her story back to Kenya during colonial rule of mid-20th century Electra, an American supermodel with addiction issues, also deals with coming to terms with her life experiences and her future. Another part of a great series.
