The prologue sums up the heart of this book with its emphasis on "the pursuit of happiness" line from America's Declaration of Independence. The book is filled with case studies on how to pursue the good life without the oppressive boot of government creating one-size-fits-all solutions that don't

solve anything at all. It is a very positive book filled with examples and ideas for going in a different direction than we are today.
